Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Drainage and Flood Risk Engineer to join our client's team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in drainage and flood risk engineering, with experience in preparing drainage and flood risk strategies to support planning applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review flood risk assessments and drainage strategy documents
• Liaise with colleagues and clients to ensure effective project delivery
• Prepare flood risk assessments to support planning applications
• Prepare surface water drainage strategies and flood risk assessments to support planning applications
• Prepare foul water drainage strategies to support planning applications
• Utilize software such as Microdrainage/Flow and AutoCAD or their equivalents
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues

Requirements

• 2+ years' experience in the industry
• Strong background in drainage and flood risk engineering
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing environments
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
