Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team at Hunter Selection Limited. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and placing purchase orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Management: Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and place purchase orders.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Monitor supplier performance and resolve any supply issues.
  • Procurement Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentation.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and control inventory levels to prevent excess and shortage.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Buyer, Materials Controller, or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of supply chain management and procurement processes.
  • Skill: Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Software: Proficiency in inventory management software.
