Job Title: Class 1 Driver

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Class 1 HGV Driver to join our team at City Resource Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting refrigerated goods to various locations, adhering to temperature control and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely transport refrigerated goods to various locations, ensuring compliance with temperature control and safety standards.
  • Complete deliveries on time while following assigned routes, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in good working order.
  • Adhere to all UK driving regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV Licence
  • Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Experience in Refrigerated Transport (Preferred but not essential)
  • Good Driving Record: No more than 6 penalty points
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to manage time effectively and ensure all deliveries are completed safely
  • Flexibility: Ability to work days, nights, or weekend shifts
