Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Omega Resource Group. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the conceptual design and engineering of low voltage power systems, including industrial drive systems, power conversion, and power generation applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement electrical design concepts and solutions for low voltage power systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical design meets project requirements and specifications
  • Conduct detailed design studies and calculations to ensure electrical systems meet industry regulations and standards
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including technical construction files and design specifications
  • Coordinate with hardware design teams to review and approve detailed designs
  • Participate in factory acceptance testing and commissioning of electrical systems
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, client specifications, and internal standards
  • Meet project milestones and deadlines
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and mentoring of less-experienced engineers

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent understanding of electrical control systems, low voltage power supply and distribution, power conversion, and power generation concepts
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Confident and proactive with an organized approach to work
  • Situational adaptability and good problem-solving skills
