Job Description: Plant Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Plant Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient operation of our plant fleet, ensuring that all equipment is maintained to the highest standards and operated safely and responsibly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the plant fleet, including maintenance, repairs, and fuel management.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient and safe operation of all equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of plant machinery to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Manage a team of plant operators, providing training and guidance on best practices.
  • Work closely with suppliers to source and procure new equipment as needed.
  • Monitor fuel consumption and implement strategies to reduce waste.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations.

Education & Qualifications/Experience
  • Relevant experience within plant and/or the construction industry.
  • Experienced manager.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of plant machinery.
