Nurseplus UK Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Field Care Supervisor to join our homecare team. As a Field Care Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring our service users receive the care and support they expect and deserve.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments with new service users to determine their care needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Undertake risk and manual handling assessments to ensure the safe delivery of care packages.
  • Review and update care plans annually or following significant changes to service user needs.
  • Provide direct supervision to care workers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care.
  • Maintain an effective quality assurance system, working closely with the Branch Manager and Quality Assurance Advisor.
  • Conduct quality monitoring telephone calls to service users to evaluate care worker performance.
  • Liaise with Social Services as required, attending client reviews and providing updates on service user progress.
  • Participate in an on-call roster, providing cover for unplanned absences and ensuring the continuity of care services.

Requirements:

  • A full UK driving license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users, care workers, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong assessment and written skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage competing demands.
  • A friendly, confident, and helpful telephone manner.
  • A positive, focused attitude, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care services.
