Job Summary:

The Best Connection is seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Driver to join our team. As a Class 2 driver, you will be responsible for delivering store deliveries of stock on behalf of a leading retailer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver store deliveries of stock to various locations
  • Handle cages and a tail-lift at assigned drops
  • Pass a site assessment prior to starting
  • Work on a 4 on, 4 off basis

Requirements:

  • 2 years' experience as a Class 2 driver
  • Relevant experience will be considered
  • Ability to handle cages and a tail-lift
  • Pass a site assessment

Benefits:

  • £15.21 per hour (PAYE only)
  • Average start times between
  • £17.33 per hour (PAYE) between
  • Overtime rate of £18.75 after 48 hours
  • Paid assessment and induction
  • Ongoing, consistent work

Guaranteed Hours: You will receive a minimum of 12 hours' pay per day, even on shorter shifts.

Time Off: Enjoy 28 days' annual leave entitlement pro-rata, including Bank Holidays.

Future Planning: After a qualifying period, pension contributions will be available.
