Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

General Oceans AS is seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our dynamic HQ finance team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the financial strategy and success of our growing organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Monthly Consolidations & Group Reporting: Lead the monthly consolidation process and prepare comprehensive group management reports.
- Quarterly Shareholder Reporting: Compile and present quarterly reports for shareholders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Board Pack Preparation: Prepare detailed financial board packs, including performance analysis, forecasts, and key insights.
- Covenant Reports: Prepare covenant reports for the group's bankers.
- Group Budget Consolidation: Oversee the group-wide budget consolidation process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and presentation of information.
- Management of BI Tool (DataRails) & Data Integrity: Own, manage and enhance the Business Intelligence (BI) tool, ensuring data integrity and accuracy across the group. Maintain the dashboards in the BI tool.
- Group Consolidated Annual Report (IFRS): Prepare the group consolidated annual financials and notes in accordance with IFRS. Prepare IFRS notes and schedules for the annual audit.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Bespoke statutory reports, support M&A activities, contribute to the development and maintenance of group policy documents, and assist with other financial projects as required.
- IFRS Expertise: Strong knowledge and practical experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Experience: Demonstrable experience and success in a similar role, preferably within a multinational environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial consolidation software, BI tools, and advanced Excel skills.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
- Ownership: Have the confidence to take the lead on discussions with business leaders, developing the role's influence and effectiveness.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage relationships with key stakeholders.
We offer a competitive salary, 5% matched pension contribution plus other benefits. Largely office based, close to Bond Street Station, with some hybrid flexibility.
