Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Maintenance Specialist to join our team at StandardAero. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and safety in the maintenance of aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of maintenance activities, including routine maintenance, repairs, and modifications, in accordance with approved procedures and regulations.
  • Contribute to the team's delivery of agreed targets and goals, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.
  • Comply with current Tool Control procedure and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Attend and contribute to team meetings, providing input and suggestions for improvement.
  • Carry out Improving Quality and Continuous Quality Improvement reviews, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Support a climate of continuous improvement, assisting in the development and implementation of lean methodology and productivity initiatives.
  • Undertake training and training of other team members to achieve maximum flexibility and efficiency.
  • Agree to perform other duties within the team to support team output and achieve business objectives.
  • Work within and promote the Behavioural Competencies, ensuring a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Ensure all procedures relating to foreign object debris control are adhered to, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Mentor and train apprentices as required, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
Requirements
  • Recognized indentured apprenticeship or military equivalent.
  • Human Factors training.
  • Experience working with drawings and approved source information.
  • Understanding of Military MRP 145 and associated Regulatory requirements.
