We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Arts Therapist to join our CAMHS team as a Mental Health Therapist. As an Arts Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based interventions and improving service quality for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver a wide range of interventions, projects, and system changes to support young people's mental health.
- Provide comprehensive consultation, assessment, risk management, and interventions for young people experiencing emotional and mental health difficulties in schools.
- Clinically supervise colleagues and participate in weekly clinical discussions with the team.
- Develop and deliver teaching and training sessions regarding the benefits of arts and arts therapies to various audiences.
- MA (or equivalent) in Art Therapy, Music Therapy, Drama therapy, or Dance Movement Psychotherapy.
- Registration with the HCPC for Art Therapy, Music therapy, or Drama therapy.
- Experience of working with service users with challenging needs and providing teaching and training sessions.
- Experience of working as an Arts Therapist in a multi-disciplinary team and providing clinical supervision.
