Job Title: Head of Design

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Design to join our team at Eolas Medical. As the Head of Design, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of design, from product design and user experience to branding and visual communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design vision, strategy, and execution across our product.
  • Drive the end-to-end design process, from research and concept development to final design delivery.
  • Ensure a consistent and compelling visual identity across all touchpoints, including product, web, and marketing.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create intuitive and impactful user experiences.
  • Advocate for design excellence and user-centric thinking throughout the company.
  • Conduct and utilise user research and data-driven insights to inform design decisions.
  • Stay ahead of design trends, tools, and industry best practices to keep our products innovative and competitive.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving start-up environment.
  • Extensive experience in product design, UX/UI design, and visual communication.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design skills, from concept to execution.
  • Expertise in design tools including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, webflow is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies.
  • A strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating elegant, user-friendly products.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and balance the needs of different stakeholders.
  • A proactive, self-driven approach with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
