We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at The Eaton Oak, a beautiful family-friendly pub with quality accommodation. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for all food production, ensuring that food is prepared to an exemplary standard. You will also be accountable for hygiene and health and safety within the kitchen, as well as the recruitment, training, and development of the kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for all food production, ensuring high-quality dishes are prepared and presented to our guests.
  • Overall accountability for hygiene and health and safety within the kitchen, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Recruit, train, and develop the kitchen team to ensure excellent food quality and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage food and labour costs to achieve a strong food margin and labour within budget.
  • Input into menu development and ensure that company policies and procedures are followed.
What We Are Looking For:
  • A Head Chef with a background in a premium environment and a passion for fresh food.
  • The ability to deliver to excellent standards in a fast-paced and pressurized environment.
  • Leadership qualities, including motivating your team through regular and engaging team meetings and briefs.
  • A role model and a vision to inspire the kitchen team.
  • Ability to deal with poor performers in a fair and constructive way.
