Mental Health Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate AD Hoc Mental Health Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the leadership of our newly developed Eating Disorder Day Patient Service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support staff members in delivering high-quality care to patients.
- Book and manage clinics, ensuring seamless delivery of the programme.
- Undertake rehabilitation activities, including therapeutic, social support, and psycho-educational groups.
- Monitor patients' physical health and implement risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with the Occupational Therapy, Clinical Lead, and Operational Lead to deliver an occupational therapy programme.

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a patient-centered service, where the needs of the individual determine the types of intervention. You will work across a variety of therapeutic activities, including psycho-education groups, shopping, meals/snacks out, cooking, and relaxation techniques.
Requirements:
- Experience in mental health nursing or a related field.
- Strong communication and observation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and patient needs.
