Senior Quantity Surveyor

Gordon Leak Associates Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team due to growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost control and management, with experience in private residential development.

• Tendering and negotiation of external consultants, project managers, and subcontractors
• Procurement of materials, site preliminaries, and plant/equipment hire
• Management of a small team of site-based Quantity Surveyors and implementation of full cost control systems
• Full budgeting and cost control on new build and conversion developments
• Programming of developments and cost reporting
• Liaising with project management teams to achieve fast track developments

• BSc in Quantity Surveying or related field
• Experience in private residential development
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate commercial awareness and financial management
• Ability to build strong relationships with contractors
