Job Title: English Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified English Teacher to join our team at Cambian Wisbech School. As a specialist teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons to our students, ensuring they achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver well-structured lessons to students aged 7-17 years.
  • Manage classes effectively, using approaches that motivate students and promote a safe learning environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to inform future teaching.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience of teaching English to students with SEMH/SEN needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for teaching and learning.

Cambian Wisbech School is an independent, DfE-registered, co-educational day school providing specialist education for up to 40 students aged 7-17 years. We aim to re-engage learners with their education and replace feelings of failure and frustration with a sense of belonging and success.
