SEN Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher/Form Tutor to join our team at Education Matters Group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for educating and nurturing a small group of low ability students in an engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support students with SEN needs, providing individualized attention and care.
  2. Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to the needs of all students, promoting inclusive learning.
  3. Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive classroom environment, encouraging student participation and engagement.
  4. Assess and record student progress, ensuring learning objectives are met and providing regular feedback to parents and colleagues.
  5. Communicate with parents and colleagues regarding student development and progress, fostering a collaborative approach to education.
  6. Utilise early childhood education techniques to engage young learners, promoting a love of learning and academic success.
Requirements:
  1. Qualified teacher with experience in SEN education.
  2. Excellent communication skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
  3. Ability to educate and inspire students of all abilities, promoting a growth mindset and academic excellence.
