About the Role

New Balance is a leading sportswear brand that values its employees as part of its family. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Stockroom Supervisor. As a key member of our stockroom team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a high-performing stockroom and supporting the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a Full Understanding of Company Objectives and Stockroom Standards
  • Responsible as a keyholder to open the store to receive and accept deliveries and on occasion, close the store.
  • Liaise and communicate with the Store Manager on a daily basis to ensure understanding of any issues that affect the stockroom and shop floor.
  • Ensure the stockroom is well-organized and that company standards are adhered to and maintained at all times, including tagging, cubing, and merchandising stock to company standards using specialist equipment when necessary.
  • Ensure all deliveries are processed and productivity targets are consistently met.
  • Support team with store inventory counts.
  • Actively manage the accuracy of the stock file through identifying and correcting discrepancies at the point of delivery.
  • Ensure that the team is aware of any special stock situations, including understocked and overstocked stock, through effective analysis and communication.
  • Liaise with the Store Visual Merchandiser to manage stock to floor procedures in a structured and strategic manner.
  • Take on Duty Manager and floor leadership responsibilities when necessary.
Requirements for Success
  • Retail stockroom and delivery experience required.
  • Self-driven and leads own learning and development.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency with PCs for spreadsheets, word processing, and inventory software.
  • Flexible work schedule includes weekends and holidays.
  • Available to work occasional night shifts and must be available for inventory counts.
