Job Title: Play Leader

Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Play Leader to join our team at Comhairle Nan Eilean Siar. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and leading a curriculum that supports the all-round learning and development of children, using the medium of Gaelic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and organise play sessions, taking into account the needs of every child.
  • Provide cover for the Manager as and when required.
  • Work with young children and their families in an early years setting.
  • Have a qualification that meets the Scottish Social Services Council's requirements for Practitioners.
  • Be able to speak and read Gaelic.

Requirements:

  • Proven childcare experience.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
