About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Crane Driver to join our team at Churchill Living Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of our tower crane, ensuring the efficient and safe lifting of equipment and building materials on site.

As a Crane Driver, you will be responsible for conducting regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and take necessary precautions to mitigate them.

You will also be responsible for maintaining and servicing the crane and other plant equipment, ensuring they are in good working order at all times.

The ideal candidate will have a valid tower crane driving license and a strong understanding of health and safety regulations, including the HSE Act 1974 and the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998.

You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, communicating effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the tower crane safely and efficiently, ensuring the safe lifting of equipment and building materials on site.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and take necessary precautions to mitigate them.
  • Maintain and service the crane and other plant equipment, ensuring they are in good working order at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the site.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Valid tower crane driving license.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, including the HSE Act 1974 and the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in a fast-paced environment.
