Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Receptionist/Support Administrator to join our team at Great Bridge Partnerships for Health. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our clinicians and staff.

Main Responsibilities
  • Greet and direct patients and visitors to our practice in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Direct and assist patients to clinics where necessary, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience.
  • Book appointments, take home visits, and prescription requests, prioritizing emergency requests in collaboration with clinical staff.
  • Deal with routine enquiries, forward messages, and take appropriate action, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Keep patients informed and updated of any changes or delays affecting clinics or appointments.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times, adhering to our organization's strict confidentiality policies.
  • Perform an adequate 'handover' to colleagues after each shift, ensuring all outstanding tasks are passed over.
  • Ensure your working area is left clean and tidy, and secured at the end of each day.
  • Contribute to scheduling appointments on our clinical system and room availability.
  • Provide cover for colleagues during holiday and sick leave, demonstrating a flexible and reliable approach.
  • Utilize existing IT software, such as our clinical system, to contribute towards the collection of QOF data and achievement of our GMS contract.
  • Undertake training in line with the development of the post, as agreed with your line manager, and participate in our organization's performance review process on an annual basis.
