Mobile Plant Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Plant Engineer to join our team at Path Recruitment Ltd. As a Mobile Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of plant equipment, including diggers, dumpers, rollers, excavators, telehandlers, and forklifts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out preventative maintenance on hire equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Attend customer site breakdowns and perform repairs and servicing as required.
  • Follow company health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Mobile Plant Engineer, Plant Fitter, Plant Technician, Plant Mechanic, or similar role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

We offer a competitive salary of £38k depending on experience, plus overtime. Other benefits include a company van and fuel card, Monday-Friday working hours, company bonus scheme, death in service, company-funded social events, employee wellness scheme, pension scheme, and up to 25 days annual leave and bank holidays.
