We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paraplanner to join our team at Financial Divisions. As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial planners in providing exceptional client service and delivering high-quality financial solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in-depth research to understand clients' financial needs and objectives
- Analyze investment portfolios and provide expert advice on investment strategies
- Compile and prepare technical suitability reports, investment illustrations, and pension/protection documentation
- Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and maintain high standards of professionalism
- Support with ad-hoc projects and tasks, and contribute to the development of new business initiatives
- Review and understand existing scheme information from providers, and utilize research tools/systems to complete detailed analysis
- Minimum of diploma standard qualification in a relevant field, with a strong desire to achieve Chartered status
- Proven experience in a senior paraplanning or technical role within an advisory practice
- Excellent knowledge of key areas of financial planning and advice, including pensions, investments, IHT, and estate planning
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex planning into clear and concise reports
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
- Proficiency in using FE Analytics and Voyant software, and experience of participating in client-facing meetings with advisers
