About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and patient tutor to provide one-to-one support to young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. As a tutor with Teaching Personnel, you will work with students who require additional support to access education and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one tuition to students with SEMH needs, focusing on their individual learning goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement tailored lesson plans to meet the needs of each student, incorporating English, Maths, and Life Skills.
  • Work collaboratively with our experienced team to ensure seamless support and guidance for students.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs, or a strong understanding of the challenges faced by these students.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, patience, compassion, and resilience.
