Infrastructure Technician – Hybrid

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Technician to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid role – with 2/3 days working from home each week.

As an Infrastructure Technician, you will play a key role in leading projects within the Infrastructure Team to assist the Information Systems function in developing, delivering, and maintaining business application systems that provide real benefits to the business areas throughout the company. You will also operate such systems on a modern, reliable, and cost-effective information technology infrastructure.

You will be responsible for implementing and supporting virtualized server infrastructure and technologies, including SAN technology for storage. Experience with Dell and EMC SAN and Server products is also required. Additionally, you will need to manage and configure Citrix environments, as well as implement and manage disaster recovery solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of Microsoft products, both server and desktop, and experience with network and comms, including IP, routing, VLANs, and Cisco phone systems. Knowledge of firewalls, IPS, and Cisco routers is also essential. Ideally, you will have exposure to IS27001 standards and basic SQL skills.
