This position requires a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at MatchaTalent. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, accounting, and taxation, with a focus on the oil and gas industry.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare financial reports and analysis for affiliates and projects.
- Review and provide commentary on board materials for affiliates.
- Present financial advisory to senior management on upcoming board meetings and projects.
- Conduct financial analysis and modeling for affiliates and projects.
- Manage the day-to-day accounting function, including internal financial controls and compliance with corporate governance best practices.
- Collaborate with management on the preparation and presentation of financial forecasts.
- Manage the planning and budgeting function, including cash management and financing activities.
- Provide support for joint venture and M&A integration.
- Brief the controllers finance organization on operational matters, new projects, and initiatives.
- Support management on complex accounting and finance matters.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with advanced professional competencies and certifications such as CPA, CA, or CFA.
- 10 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, accounting, research, international taxation, financial analysis, financial modeling, business development, mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance, internal controls, financing & cash management, and consulting.
- Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and SAP is desirable.
- Industry experience in chemicals, power generation, or oil & gas is preferred.
- Proficiency in oral and written English is required.
