About the RoleThis is a key position that will manage all social media channels across bicycle and powersports, driving growth in terms of reach and engagement with the brand. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and analyzing social media trends, reporting on key measures such as revenue and web visitor data, and improving social media and brand presence and campaign efficacy.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all Muc-Off social media channels
- Develop and deliver channel-specific content strategies
- Deliver the brand tone of voice across all owned channels
- Write clear, concise design and creative briefs
- Create and schedule social media posts
- Contribute to the overall marketing strategy to drive website traffic and increase conversions
- Monitor competitor social activity and report on key insights
- Keep up to date with social media viral trends, technological/algorithmic updates, and provide recommendations for improvement
- Contribute to the overarching content strategy
- Actively monitor and respond to comments and messages across all channels
- Provide monthly KPI reports for key stakeholders
- Activate global events through social channels, with occasional event attendance required to capture content and run takeovers
- Provide long-term planning and scheduling aligned to the bicycle marketing plan
- Liaise with external agencies, brand partners, and distributors/retailers on social activation topics
- Proven experience in developing and implementing effective social campaigns
- Good knowledge and understanding of the bicycle and powersports industries on a global basis
- Demonstrable strong understanding of emerging social media trends
- A positive outlook and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized and structured approach
- Team orientation and ability to build strong relationships
- Proven ability to work independently and deliver results
- Excellent IT skills, including social planning and evaluation tools
- Willingness to be the voice of social media 7 days a week
