Marketing Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our team at Another Planet Entertainment. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Marketing Department by coordinating and implementing various marketing activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the Marketing Department, including scheduling meetings, maintaining marketing calendars and databases, and organizing files.
  • Maintain promoter and venue websites, including general web maintenance and event-specific listing maintenance.
  • Build email blasts sent via various email databases, with a focus on HTML and/or IBM Watson/Acoustic.
  • Manage Advertising Accounts Payable Process, including tracking advertising payments and serving as a direct billing contact with vendors.
  • Assist in show and venue marketing, including maintenance of advertising plans and creation of advertising packs/closeouts for presentation to artist teams.
  • Assist in social media maintenance, including Facebook events, social media strategy, and editorial calendars.
  • Upload and organize house photography albums.
  • Assist in media escorting at select APE concert venues as needed.
  • Provide customer service support on phone systems.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, research, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 0-1 years of experience in a marketing role or internship.
  • Experience with software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, HTML, and/or IBM Watson/Acoustic.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and SEM practices.
