Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our experienced catering team at Horder Healthcare. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting the Corporate Catering Manager and Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring that food is prepared and served to a high-quality standard. Main Responsibilities

Working within a fast-paced kitchen environment, you will be responsible for assisting with menu planning and preparation, ensuring that food is prepared and served to a high-quality standard. You will also be responsible for supporting the Corporate Catering Manager and Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, including managing kitchen staff and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive and forward-thinking approach, and a passion for continued learning.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a City & Guilds 706 Level 2, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent C.I.E.H. Level 2 Food Safety Certificate. You will also need to have prior experience within a fast-paced kitchen environment, excellent communication skills, and a proactive and forward-thinking approach. You will be required to evidence your right to work in the UK before commencement of employment.
