Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Shawthorpe Recruitment Ltd. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and managing a portfolio of customer accounts.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve monthly targets
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts with sales revenue in excess of £75k per annum
- Organize and prioritize your own diary and calendar to ensure frequent customer meetings
- Build and maintain a steady pipeline of opportunities
- Utilize product knowledge to showcase company USPs and range of solutions
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Support the wider sales team on commercial opportunities
- Previous experience in waste management would be ideal
- Managed portfolios in excess of £75k
- Proven success in business development
- Computer literate with solid experience of MS Office
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Great at building and maintaining relationships
- Tenacious, driven, organized, and a self-starter
- Company car with the ability to upgrade dependent on sales performance
- Fuel card, company laptop, and mobile phone
- Monthly commission structure
