Deputy Manager Opportunity at a Residential Care Home

At Bright Selection Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Deputy Manager to join our team at a well-regarded residential care home in Hampshire. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring high standards of care, safety, and well-being for all residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leadership and Management: Lead, motivate, and manage the care and support teams at the home, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  2. Compliance and Quality: Oversee the smooth running of the home, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, including health & safety and safeguarding, and monitor and improve quality standards to meet CQC requirements.
  3. Staff Development: Support and mentor staff, encouraging professional growth and development, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  4. Operational Management: Assist the General Manager in the overall management of the home, ensuring effective use of resources and efficient operations.
Requirements:
  1. Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in social care, such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  2. Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a care home or healthcare setting.
  3. Knowledge: Knowledge of CQC standards and other relevant legislation.
  4. Approach: A compassionate and resident-focused approach to care, with a commitment to delivering high-quality services.
Benefits:
  1. Competitive Salary: £31,000 per annum.
  2. Annual Leave: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, rising to 30 days after 5 years of service.
