Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Administrator to join their team. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operations across the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with the management team to plan production based on customer order forecasts and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery.
  • Raise production work orders in alignment with customer orders and maintain accurate records of production activities, including work orders, inventory usage, and quality control documentation.
  • Update inventory levels, ensuring materials and components are available for production as required.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including welcoming customers and suppliers, and facilitating effective communication with both.
  • Act as a point of contact for customers regarding production schedules, order status, and specific requirements or changes.
  • Facilitate the induction process for new personnel, ensuring all documentation is completed.
  • Facilitate daily production meetings with key personnel, ensuring compliance with our Quality Management System, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485 standards.
  • Produce service and customer-specific quotations by understanding the full scope of our manufacturing processes, costs, and customer requirements.
  • Support the management team in performing cost analysis and margin calculations for new and existing processes.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas where production efficiency and quality can be enhanced.
  • Assist in documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production processes, ensuring clarity and consistency across the team.
Production Administrator Position Requirements
  • Strong administrative skills with excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access.
  • Previous experience with ERP/MRP systems is essential.
  • Demonstrates efficiency, accuracy, and attention to detail, with strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt and multi-task.
  • Possesses a positive, friendly attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work and the ability to work independently within deadlines.
  • A willingness to learn and grow within the role.
  • Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Production Administrator Position Remuneration
  • Competitive Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
