Job Summary:
Vanderlande is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our UK team. As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical controls installations for our industrial projects. You will work closely with our engineering team to ensure that all electrical components and interfaces meet the required standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and specify electrical controls installations, including cabinets, field wiring, cable trunking, and mechanical supports.
- Develop and validate power calculations, cable calculations, and selectivity calculations.
- Produce information necessary for manufacturers, installation managers, special design engineers, wiring contractors, and purchase department.
- Ensure that all electrical components and interfaces meet the required standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Participate in decision-making with all relevant disciplines regarding electrical components and interfaces.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and policies, as well as learning continuously and developing self-professional potential and ability.
Requirements:
- Experienced in developing electrical design for industrial installations and low voltage installations.
- Experienced in working with engineering tools like Autocad and Eplan.
- Electro-technology / Energy technology qualification ideal.
- A structured individual with an open approach to design and problem-solving.
- Knowledge of industrial networks like ProfiNet, ASi bus, and Profibus.
- Knowledge of used technologies and equipment for Material Handling Systems.
