About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Ecologist to join our team in a Consultant or Senior Ecologist position. The ideal candidate will have experience in ecological surveys, protected species surveys, and ECoW work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct ecological surveys and reports
  • Provide ecological advice and toolbox talks
  • Watch briefs and support vegetation management operatives and clients
  • Manage client requirements, produce quotes, and carry out work
Requirements
  • 2+ years experience in the Ecology sector and at least one protected species licence
  • Experience in undertaking Ecological Clerk of Works roles
  • Good understanding of relevant legislation, including the Wildlife and Countryside Act and the Conservation of Habitats and Species Regulations
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Full UK driving licence
What We Offer

Salary in the region of £27,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience and licences/qualifications. Benefits include mobile phone, health care cash back & health insurance, sick pay, and life assurance.
