Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Transport Operators to join our team at Meriden Media. In this role, you will be responsible for trunking operations, typically involving a single drop and a return load. You will operate within a modern and well-maintained fleet, ensuring efficient and safe transportation of goods.

Shift Patterns / Working Hours:
  • Friday to Sunday
  • Friday to Monday
  • Sunday to Thursday
  • Tuesday to Saturday
Start times will primarily be in the afternoons or nights, with a guaranteed minimum of 10 hours per shift.

Key Requirements:
To be successful in this role, candidates must:
  • Hold a valid HGV Class 1 license for at least 2 years
  • Possess current CPC and Tacho cards
  • Be available to work the specified shift patterns
  • Have no more than 6 points on their driving record (excluding DD, DR, IN, TT)

Responsibilities:
Your main duties will include:
  • Transporting goods to various company locations, including NDCs and RDCs
  • Operating curtain-sided or box trailers
  • Ensuring minimal handling of the load

Compensation:
As a valued member of our team, you will receive:
  • Daytime hours (05:00 - 22:00) at a rate of £17.04 per hour
  • Nighttime hours (22:00 - 04:00) at a rate of £19.23 per hour
  • Overtime pay after 8.75 hours daily at £25.56 per hour
