Temporary Learning and Engagement Officer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning and Engagement Officer to join our award-winning team at Norfolk Museums Service.

The successful candidate will lead on the development and delivery of formal and informal learning and engagement activities at King's Lynn Town Hall, working in partnership with other cultural, arts, and heritage organizations to support the delivery of learning and engagement activities across Kings Lynn.

This is a temporary maternity cover position to run for nine months from October 2024, and the post holder will be responsible for working with schools, families, and young people as part of the innovative Kick the Dust project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver formal and informal learning and engagement activities at King's Lynn Town Hall
  • Work in partnership with other cultural, arts, and heritage organizations to support the delivery of learning and engagement activities across Kings Lynn
  • Work with schools, families, and young people as part of the innovative Kick the Dust project
  • Contribute to the development of the Norfolk Museums Service's learning and engagement strategy

  • Proven experience in learning and engagement roles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
