Job Title: Part-Time Class Teacher

We are seeking an experienced and passionate teacher to join our supportive and friendly team at The Minster CE Primary School. As a part-time class teacher, you will play a vital role in promoting our school's Christian values and providing a happy, stimulating, and safe environment for our children to thrive.

About the Role

This is a permanent position, commencing in January 2025, with a 0.6 part-time contract (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday). We are looking for an excellent teacher and subject leader who can work well in our team, establishing effective relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that cater to the needs of all learners
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them
  • Contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and policies
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the school's decision-making process
Requirements

We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about young children's learning, has high expectations for learning and behavior, and is committed to inclusion. You should be a responsive teacher, able to excite and engage all learners, and have good interpersonal skills. If you are a team player who can work hard and remain calm under pressure, we would love to hear from you.
