The Lancashire Cricket Club is a distinguished venue that not only serves as a hotel but also as a premier location for high-profile events, including international cricket matches and concerts. With 250 well-appointed rooms, a restaurant offering exquisite dining experiences, and a bar overlooking the iconic pitch, our establishment is designed to provide an exceptional atmosphere for both guests and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a bustling service environment, addressing any challenges that may arise.
- Effectively communicate and delegate tasks to the service team.
- Greet guests with warmth and professionalism.
- Accurately take and deliver customer orders, consistently showcasing high standards of guest service.
- Prepare dining setups in the restaurant area.
- Adhere to payment processing protocols.
- Handle guest inquiries promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all F&B transactions.
- Ensure the F&B department is always ready for service.
- Monitor stock levels in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
- Comply with hotel security, fire safety regulations, and health legislation.
- Follow local licensing laws.
- Support other departments as needed and foster positive working relationships.
Essential Requirements
- Prior experience supervising a hotel team in a 4-star environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with integrated F&B point-of-sale systems.
- Experience in F&B service within a hotel context.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Proficient IT skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure.
- Dedication to delivering exceptional guest service.
- Positive demeanor and outstanding communication abilities.
