Position Overview

Proman UK, serving as an Employment Business, is actively seeking proficient Class 1 HGV / LGV C +E Drivers for our esteemed client, who operates a depot in the region.

Role Summary: Class 1 HGV/LGV C +E Driver - Your responsibilities will include executing bulk collections and deliveries across various sites and clientele nationwide.

Engaging in trunking of palletized goods with no manual handling involved.

Collections and deliveries may necessitate trailer exchanges.

Working Hours: All shifts begin in the morning, with an average duration of 10 hours. Flexibility in scheduling is essential. This is an ongoing position, operating Monday through Friday.

We are only able to consider drivers who are fully available during peak periods. No pre-scheduled holidays during the busiest months will be accepted.

A driving assessment is a prerequisite for this assignment.

Compensation: PAYE,

  • Midweek:

Standard Rate - £17.23 (with holiday accrual)

Successful candidates MUST meet the following criteria:

  • Possess a valid Class 1/C+E Licence
  • No more than 6 penalty points (No DD/DR/TT or IN endorsements)
  • Current Tacho and CPC cards
  • A minimum of 2 years of continuous work experience is mandatory. Tachograph records reflecting this experience will be required for the induction process.
  • MUST have no more than 12 active points for infringements on the driving card
