Job Title: Night HVAC Engineer

Join our team as a Night HVAC Engineer and take on a challenging role that requires a unique blend of technical expertise and problem-solving skills.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night HVAC Engineer to join our team at ABM UK. As a Night HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering HVAC mechanical reactive services across the Transport for London contract.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that fault assignments are attended, diagnosed, and repaired in line with agreed contractual SLA.
  • Ensure that suitable spares are available to complete allocated tasks.
  • Ensure that all relevant site documentation is held and maintained.
  • Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are always prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to ensure safe working practices.
  • Develop a good working relationship with all members of staff, subcontractors, and client representatives.
  • Ensure the provision of a safe and healthy working environment, including the wearing of uniform and PPE.
  • Ensure up-to-date plant logs are always kept.
  • Ensure that all plant rooms under the responsibility of the organization are kept in a clean and tidy condition.
  • Undertake lone working when and where required, subject to passing satisfactory training.
  • Ensure assigned tasks are actioned and completed as appropriate.
  • Ensure an awareness and compliance to the contractual KPI's/SLA's.
  • Ensure the CAFM system is kept up to date and that Reactive tickets are closed out with accurate data captured.
  • Perform any other tasks as directed by the account management team.
Requirements
  • Hold an NVQ/City & Guilds Qualification in Refrigeration.
  • Hold a CAT 1 F Gas qualification.
  • Hold a Full UK Driving License.
  • Have the balanced ability to think clearly in extreme circumstances.
  • Have good experience in reactive works and a track record in working in Facilities Management.
