About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our Specialist Residential Support Service in Ynystawe Lodge, Swansea. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment, providing exceptional care and support to individuals with mental health, Autism, and Learning Disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the staff team in providing person-centred care and support, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
- Advocate for individuals, promoting their rights and dignity, and supporting them to achieve their goals.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a smooth and effective service delivery.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring they are tailored to individual needs.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care, making recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- QCF level 3 qualification or working towards.
- Proven experience in care, with a minimum of 1 year.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of equal opportunities and how they impact employees and service users.
