HSB Technical Ltd specializes in recruitment for the Power & Propulsion, Shipbuilding, Shipping & Energy, and Aerospace industries. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for various permanent and contract roles across the UK and internationally.

Job Overview:
The Instrumentation Pipefitter will be responsible for the construction and installation of small bore tubing systems, which may take place offshore or within a workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately interpret engineering schematics, both hydraulic and pneumatic, to a high standard.
  • Possess a strong understanding of hydraulic instrument fittings and threading.
  • Demonstrate expertise in the selection and installation of hydraulic and pneumatic instruments and components.
  • Have experience with small bore tubing pressure ratings and assembly techniques.
  • Be skilled in the creation of fixed hose assemblies.
  • Prepare detailed service reports, maintain precise records, and complete all necessary documentation, including test procedures, risk assessments, and toolbox talks to a high standard.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Experience working in offshore environments with the necessary certifications.
  • Time-served pipe fitter with a focus on instrumentation.
  • Relevant qualifications in pipe fitting.
