Advanced Podiatrist

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Podiatrist to join our team in South Manchester. The successful candidate will manage a caseload of patients with complex high-risk foot conditions and provide mentorship to junior staff.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a well-motivated HCPC registered podiatrist with postgraduate clinical experience to provide expert care for patients with pathological foot conditions. The post holder will be required to have good diagnostic and clinical skills to deliver a range of podiatry treatments, including wound care, vascular assessment, and off-loading.
Key Responsibilities- Provide an efficient and effective podiatry service to patients of Manchester Local Care Organisation Trust
- Develop and provide care to patients with diabetes and other high-risk groups using protocols of care and working collaboratively with other healthcare staff
- Assess, diagnose, develop, and implement individualized care programs for patients with a wide variety of clinical needs
- Work independently to provide high-quality clinical care and manage a caseload of patients with complex foot conditions
- Support the Podiatry Manager by undertaking management and leadership responsibilities appropriate to the band

Person SpecificationEssential Qualifications:
- Degree in Podiatry
- HCPC registration
- Professional knowledge gained through postgraduate degree modules
- Member of RCoP
- Relevant Masters module
- MDT working
- Good organisational skills

- Able to handle sensitive situations
