About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team in Bristol. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading the development of our platform, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

With a strong background in TypeScript, you will be working on a greenfield project, rewriting and modernizing our platform originally built in PHP. You will be responsible for writing clean, efficient code, and collaborating with our offshore team to ensure the successful delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of our platform, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions
  • Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success
  • Collaborate with our offshore team to ensure the successful delivery of the project
  • Write clean, efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards
  • Ensure the platform is scalable, maintainable, and meets the required functionality
Requirements
  • Strong background in TypeScript, with experience in Node.js, AWS, and MongoDB
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members
  • Experience in rewriting and modernizing legacy code, with a focus on clean, efficient code
  • Ability to work collaboratively with our offshore team, ensuring the successful delivery of the project
