IT Programme Manager

Capita is seeking an experienced IT Programme Manager to play a key role in shaping the company's future. This is a home-based role with a fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate activities to manage and implement interrelated projects from initiation to final operational stage.
  • Determine, monitor, and review programme economics, including programme costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, programme resources, and programme risk.
  • Ensure programme delivery to realise business benefits and inform programme management with an awareness of current technical developments.
Requirements:
  • Strong programme management experience.
  • Proven project management and leadership skills, with a good knowledge of business analysis principles.
  • Knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling programmes.
  • Sufficient seniority and credibility to advise project teams on their projects in relation to the programme.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project and programme and project management methods, including MSP, PRINCE2, and Agile.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience of delivering infrastructure and cloud projects.
  • Ability to command respect and create a sense of community amongst project team members.
