Job Overview

As an Operations Supervisor, you will oversee the management of a service or a collection of services within a supported housing and/or retirement living environment.

Your role will involve leading a team to deliver a high-quality, customer-centric service while ensuring compliance with legislative and contractual performance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the services to ensure the provision of a high-quality, customer-oriented experience.
  • Provide inspirational leadership, guidance, and coaching to the team, fostering effective communication and personal development.
  • Evaluate team performance to ensure exceptional service delivery by reviewing outputs, assessing individual contributions, and establishing improvement objectives.
  • Guarantee that the service meets its internal performance benchmarks and any specific contractual obligations.
  • Maintain comprehensive recording systems to track and report on service performance and compliance, providing timely reports to management.
  • Engage in the formulation and oversight of service budgets.
  • Monitor expenditures and communicate budget discrepancies to senior management.
  • Participate in after-hours management arrangements for the designated area.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in a housing and/or support context.
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations.
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proficient understanding and experience with IT systems, including Microsoft Office and databases.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory role.
  • Enhanced DBS certification.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Capability to work autonomously and manage lone working situations.

Employment Package

This is a temporary Operations Supervisor position, requiring 40 hours per week, covering the recruitment process for a permanent team member, with the potential for extension or transition to a permanent role.
