Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Trade Supervisor to join our team at Almond Housing Association. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising and training staff, as well as actively undertaking works as part of your role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train a team of tradespeople to deliver high-quality works for our clients.
  • Actively undertake works as part of your role, including painting and decorating, plumbing, joinery, electrical fixtures, fencing, and decorating.
  • Ensure that all works are completed to a high standard and in accordance with our health and safety policies.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to ensure that staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that our clients receive excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a trade-related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of essential trades, including painting and decorating, plumbing, joinery, electrical fixtures, fencing, and decorating.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards in health and safety and housing repairs.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £35,000 per annum.
  • A 35-hour working week, Monday to Friday, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
