About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Strathclyde Partnership for Transport. As a key member of our Maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance and inspections on a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment, including pumps, compressors, motors, and buildings.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on mechanical and electrical equipment
- Carry out repairs to pipework, drains, and track fixtures within competency
- Operate a variety of plant and equipment, including cranes, forklifts, and company road vehicles
- Work on a rotating shift cycle, including early shifts and back shifts
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have experience working in a maintenance environment, preferably in the Railway/Public Transport industry. You will also have good verbal and written skills, with the confidence to work without immediate supervision. A driving license is also required.
