The Victoria is a renowned hospitality establishment in the heart of Surbiton, proudly standing on its bustling High Street. We've got excellent transportation links from surrounding areas and are easily accessible by public transport.
Our Concept
We're a traditional pub with a passion for serving high-quality, seasonal British cuisine. Our menu features specials inspired by our customers' and team members' travels, with a particular focus on our award-winning Sunday roast. We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service, a warm welcome, and unparalleled product knowledge, from our signature Young's Original beer to our extensive wine selection.
Our Burger Shack
We're the only pub in Surbiton with a Burger Shack, a Young's institution serving up juicy patties, chicken wings, Louisiana hot sauces, doughnuts, and spud nuggets. Our Burger Shack is situated adjacent to our famous garden, a tranquil oasis in the midst of the bustling High Street, covered and heated in the winter and open to the sun in the summer.
Our Team
Matthew, our General Manager, and our small but dynamic team are eager to welcome you to our pub. We have regular social events, generous incentives, and a collaborative work environment. We're a close-knit family who love nothing more than enjoying a burger and a pint together. We're seeking exceptional individuals to join our team and help take our pub to the next level.

What We're Looking For
We're seeking an existing Kitchen Assistant or an individual looking to take their hospitality career to the next level. We require hard-working and dedicated individuals who are passionate about working in a reliable team that delivers high-quality standards. As a successful Kitchen Porter, you will:
- Be an active, hands-on person with a passion for working hard as part of a team
- Have high standards and a great work ethic
- Show willingness to learn new skills, be an active team player with excellent communication skills
- Work alongside your kitchen team and demonstrate your creativity and ability by helping to deliver top-quality service
- Demonstrate great planning and organizational skills to complete day-to-day tasks
