Job Description:

Head of Digital Portfolio

Our client, a leading Financial Services organisation, is seeking a highly experienced Head of Digital Portfolio to join their team on a 9-month fixed term basis. This is a unique opportunity to shape and execute digital strategy, working closely with the CEO and COO to drive the successful execution of the digital transformation agenda.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, management, and delivery of a complex portfolio of digital projects, with a focus on delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with Product Managers, key stakeholders, and subject matter experts to ensure project governance and successful project outcomes.
  • Act as a strategic partner, providing guidance and support to the CEO and COO on digital transformation initiatives.
  • Manage issues, risks, and dependencies at all stages in the project lifecycle, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and implement digital strategies, leveraging expertise in Agile methodology environments such as SAFe.
  • Stay up-to-date with digital technologies, trends, and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive business growth and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading digital transformation portfolios, with a strong track record of delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong change management experience, with the ability to manage complex projects with multiple streams.
  • Ability to actively manage issues, risks, and dependencies at all stages in the project lifecycle.
  • Experience working within Agile methodology environments, such as SAFe.
  • Strong understanding of digital technologies, trends, and best practices, with the ability to translate these into actionable strategies.
  • Financial Services exposure, with a deep understanding of the industry and its challenges.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive basic salary of between £80,000 – 85,000 (pro rata) + an excellent benefits package.
