About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sports Content Manager to join our team at Future PLC. As a key member of our Knowledge and Sports Vertical, you will be responsible for managing our How To Watch content across various brands, including Space.com, Live Science, Cyclingnews, Rugby World, Horse & Hound, Golf Monthly, and FourFourTwo.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a content strategy for our How To Watch content, ensuring it aligns with our editorial best practices and meets the needs of our audience.
  • Work closely with our editorial team to plan and create high-quality content, including breaking news stories, feature articles, and evergreen content.
  • Manage a portfolio of evergreen content, ensuring it remains current and relevant to our audience.
  • Collaborate with our SEO team to optimize our content for search engines and improve our online visibility.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with our stakeholders, including editors, writers, and designers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and adapt our content strategy accordingly.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in content management, preferably in a sports or entertainment context.
  • Strong understanding of content strategy, SEO, and online publishing.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
